国家“ 863 ”软件专业孵化器（广东）基地，是国家科技部于 2002 年 11 月批准于广东软件科学园内建设的软件领域国家级的孵化器示范基地。
      国家“ 863 ”软件专业孵化器基地，是国家为了发挥“孵小、扶强”功能作用而建设的国家级专业孵化器，目的是全面推进软件产业发展。目前已在国内软件产业相对发达地区建成 8 个基地，并通过孵化器共享与服务支撑平台，形成了覆盖全国的孵化器网络体系，在北京、上海、以及广州建成三个软件专业孵化器示范基地。
      国家“ 863 ” 软件专业孵化器广东基地由实体孵化器、虚拟孵化器构成。其中，实体孵化器包括：企业孵化器和项目孵化器两部分。企业孵化器建筑面积为 8 万平方米 ；项目孵化器为 2. 2 万平方米 建筑面积；企业孵化器和项目孵化器可为入驻企业提供智能商务办公场所。虚拟孵化器是通过远程孵化技术平台，将园区的技术平台、服务业务资源延伸至珠三角地区，形成覆盖珠三角地区的孵化网络。
      孵化器为创业企业孵化、高新企业研发、创新人才培育、科技成果转化提供办公场所、研究开发平台以及各类工具、展示平台、人才培训基地以及配套物业服务等。

Brief Introduction

The National “ 863” Software Industry Incubator ( Guangdong ) Base is a national model incubator base in the software field. It is established in GSSP with the approval of Ministry of Technology in November, 2002.

In the aim of promoting software industry in full scale, China 's government initiates National “ 863” Software Industry Incubator Base to incubator small-sized enterprises and support large-sized enterprises. Presently, there are altogether 8 bases in areas where software industry is more developed. Also, the incubator bases have formed a network system covering the whole country through incubator sharing and service platform. Now, there are three model bases in Beijing , Shanghai , and Guangzhou .

The Incubator ( Guangdong ) Base consists of entitative incubator and virtual incubator. The entitative incubator includes “enterprise incubator” and “project incubator”, with the former of 80 thousand square meters and the latter of 22 thousand square meters. “ Enterprise incubator” and “project incubator” can provide enter-park enterprises with intelligent business office. The virtual incubator is an incubating network covering the Pearl River Delta which provide the whole area with the park's technology platform and service resources through the platform of distance incubating technology.

The incubator base helps the incubation of enterprises, research of new and high technology enterprises, cultivation of innovative people of talent, and industrialization of technology by providing them with office sites, R&D platform, a variety of tools, presentation platform, personnel training base and related property management.
