科技发展资金按照以下规定申请使用：
1．对获得国家、省科技部门或者其他有关部门资助的各类科技项目，给予不超过该项目立项部门资助金额50%的资金配套支持。上级科技行政主管部门另有规定的，从其规定；
2．对获得市级以上重点新产品、产业化中试立项支持的项目，按该项目所获银行贷款给予一年期贷款贴息,贴息率按3%计；
3．对获得国家科技型中小企业创新基金的项目，给予该项目所获支持金额50%的配套支持；
4．对获得国家级工程研究开发中心、国家级重点研究室资格的研发机构，一次性给予不超过300万元人民币的资助；对获得省级研发机构资格的，一次性给予不超过150万元人民币资助。外商投资企业设立的高水平的独立研发机构，经管委会认定，可比照国家、省级研发机构，给予相应的资助；
5．鼓励软件企业通过ISO9000质量保证体系认定和CMM(能力成熟度模型)等级认证。对通过ISO9000或CMM─2级以上国际资质认证、获得市级以上科技主管部门资助的软件企业，给予等额资助；最高资助额分别为5万元和30万元；
6．对在园区内实施的专利申请和专利维持费用的，按照《广州经济技术开发区、广州高新技术产业开发区、广州出口加工区、广州保税区资助申请、维持经费管理办法》的规定予以资助；
7．其他经管委会批准给予奖励、资助或者配套的项目。
符合本条第1、第4规定情形的，按照所获最高额资助或者奖励，给予资助或者奖励。
The technology development fund of the park
Technology development fund is applied for usage according to the following provisions.
1. As to the various technology projects, which have got the subsidization from the national, provincial technology departments or other departments concerned, no more than 50% funds compared to the determination department are allocated to the projects. If the upper level technological competent administrative department has other provisions, then the provision will be in accordance with the upper level provisions.
2. As to the above-municipal key novelties, and the industrialization-determined projects, the one-year loan with discounted interest will be provided according to the amount of loan from the bank, and the discounted interest rate is calculated as 3%.
3. As to the projects with national technological-styled medium and small-sized enterprises innovation fund, 50% of the previous supporting fund is provided.
4. As to the R&D institution with the qualification of national project R&D center and national key research laboratory, one-off subsidization of no more than 3 million RMB is provided; as to the institution with the provincial qualification, one-off subsidization of no more than 1.5 million RMB is provided. The high level independent R&D institution established by foreign joint ventures, once authorized by the steering committee, will be given respective subsidization according to the national or provincial criteria.
5. Encouraging the software enterprises to pass ISO 9000 Certificate of the System of Quality Certification and CMM---Capacity Maturity Model---Hierarchical Certification. As to the software enterprises, which has passed ISO 9000 or CMM-2 or above and has got the subsidization by municipal or above technological competent authorities, will be subsidized with the equal amount of money.??
6. As to the in-the-park enterprises actualizing patent application and patent running cost, the park will provide subsidization according to the provision of Office Procedure for Subsidizing Application and Maintaining Running Cost in Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Guangzhou Development Zone for Industries Using High and New Technology, Guangzhou Export Processing Zone and Guangzhou Bonded Zone.
7. Other projects, which are approved by the steering committee granting rewards, subsidizations or supports, matching the condition of the first and the fourth provisions, are subsidized or rewarded by the maximum amount.
